Focused drill
G → C
Coaching insight
Slow down your ring-finger placement on C. Repeat once at 68 BPM, then earn the next step.
Practice the problem, not everything.
Most players plateau because practice time spreads across everything instead of targeting the one skill blocking the next level — usually a specific chord change under time pressure. GuitarMaxx isolates it, drills it at the right tempo, and measures whether it moved.
Assess
A 3-minute skill check with real timed tests finds your primary bottleneck — not a quiz score, a specific skill.
Practice
Focused drills at a tempo chosen from your accuracy, with the exact finger movements spelled out before you start.
Improve
Every drill produces numbers you can compare week to week: clean rate, best clean tempo, changes per minute.
