Terms for using GuitarMaxx
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using the GuitarMaxx mobile app (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms are between you and Justin Bisacky (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the developer of GuitarMaxx.
What the App provides (v1)
GuitarMaxx v1 is a free iOS application that offers:
- A library of fingered guitar chord diagrams with search and filters
- A self-reported practice timer (5–30 minutes per session)
- Local streak and progress summaries stored on your device
- Optional export or erasure of local practice data from Settings
The App does not listen to your playing, analyze audio, provide live tuning, or replace instruction from a qualified music teacher in this release.
Educational disclaimer
Chord diagrams and tips in the App are for general reference only. They are not medical, professional, or personalized music instruction. You are responsible for your playing technique, instrument setup, and practice choices.
Practice time logged by the timer is self-reported. The App does not verify that you played guitar during a session.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where law allows
- Redistribute, sublicense, or sell the App or its content
- Use the App in violation of applicable law
Free app; no subscription in v1
GuitarMaxx v1 is provided free of charge. This release does not include in-app purchases or subscriptions. If paid features are added in a future version, they will be disclosed in the App and in App Store listings before you are charged.
Your data
Practice history is stored locally on your device. You control export and deletion through Settings. Our Privacy Policy explains what the App does and does not collect.
